Today sees the launch of the RNLI’s first national drowning prevention campaign, Respect the Water, warning the British and Irish public that the coastlines and waters can be dangerously unpredictable. 

A hard-hitting film will be shown in cinemas across the UK and Ireland from 10th July. The film, ‘Breathe’, challenges viewers to hold their breath as a man in the sea fights the surprising power of cold water shock.
