Empire State Development's latest video features the iconic 'New York, New York' sung by Chrissi Poland

Campbell Ewald Welcomes People Back to New York City with I ❤ NY Campaign

Today, Empire State Development launched 'Come Be A Part Of It', an I Love NY campaign encouraging tourists to return to New York City - the home of renowned museums, arts, theatres, and New York-style pizza. This spot marks the first effort from the I ❤ NY campaign to promote  tourism at a time when the state is beginning to reopen following the pandemic.

Governor Andrew Cuomo stated that: "We want the world to know that New York is back and better than ever, and this new global campaign will help to spark the revitalization of our tourism industry by reminding travelers that there is nowhere else in the world like New York State - and we want them to come see it all for themselves."

The spot uses Kander & Ebb's iconic 'New York New York', sung for us by Chrissi Poland, who is an NYC resident of more than 20 years. Credits go to the music house JSM Music Inc.

The commercial was shot across the Big Apple featuring this vibrant city, its people, and diverse cultural activities. The spot was directed by Erick Fix with Robotic Raptor productions and edited by Uppercut Studios.
