Impressed by the creative boutique’s high-caliber work and superlative in-market results, dating website Zoosk has named Camp + King its agency of record, spanning any media the company chooses to deploy.
Camp + King began executing project work in the fall for Zoosk, an industry Leader in Mobile and Online Dating, with millions of singles registered from more than 70 countries. Since then, the San Francisco-based company has experienced a steady shift in awareness and consideration. The agency’s newest digital video work for Zoosk, debuts in July.
Alex Mehr, Zoosk’s President and Co-Founder, announced the new partnership saying “Zoosk is a young, energetic brand with big plans. We felt that the team at Camp+King mirrored these qualities and are as excited as we are about building our brand in the US and globally.”
One of Camp + King’s most resounding successes for Zoosk has been its “Heart Friend” marketing campaign, which debuted before Valentine’s Day and includes digital spots featuring single girl Liz and her warm, fuzzy, romantic heart. The original 30-second spot has racked up more than 20 million views – including 14 million views on YouTube – and the most recent work, showing Liz on a “Hot Date,” is closing in on 5 million YouTube views.
“We are thrilled to work with Zoosk and to have the opportunity to continue to build their brand. They really are an all you can ask for…a fun, experimental, tech brand with a great corporate culture and smart clients,” said Chief Creative Officer and Partner Roger Camp. “We look forward to continuing the success we’ve had to date as we also expand our involvement beyond the ads and into the broader experience around the brand.”
