Camp + King Announces Promotions in Strategy and Creative Teams

Camp + King (C+K) has promoted four individuals in its strategy and creative departments, co-founder and chief creative officer Roger Camp announced today.

Sally Kallet and Paige Robertson, senior strategists, have been promoted to the role of associate strategy director.

Kallet has been handling the RE/MAX, Energizer, and Jackson Hewitt accounts and editing the agency’s + blog for four years.

Robertson has been supporting Papa John’s strategy, overseeing all promotional and social creative strategies, and leading the annual Strategy Bootcamp internship program for three and a half years.

“We're proud to announce the promotions of these two very clever and talented planners who've spent the last couple years sharpening their strategic skills,” said David Morrissey, partner and director of Strategy. “Both Sally and Paige have had a huge impact on our agency's culture and in growing our clients’ businesses. I'm excited to see what each will accomplish under this new title.”

Meanwhile, the creative department is moving some talent up: Melissa Macarian has been promoted from senior art director to associate creative director and Mike Reiner has risen from copywriter to senior copywriter. Both have been at C+K for nearly four years.

Macarian has always had the drive to make the work great, but over the last four years, she’s also honed her conceptual abilities and grown into an exceptional presenter who is an absolute pro with clients.

Reiner has matured as a writer and consistently delivers big ideas for clients such as Papa John’s, RE/MAX, and Prana while maintaining that wide-eyed optimism that made C+K fall in love with him.

“The only downside to Melissa and Mike is that they often steal stuff from around the office and then punch you in the neck when confronted about it,” Camp said before confessing that he “made this last part up so other agencies don’t try to poach them away.”
