VMLY&R’s Josh Taylor-Dadds, Louisa Saddington, Danny Philpot and Rebecca Bright created a little side project in their spare time to try and support some independent pubs through the lockdown and beyond.
As the Prime Minister announced yesterday, pubs are going to be some of the last places to open as we come out of lockdown. While there are grants for the leisure industry, many pubs are not able to access critical funding to help them survive. To try and help, they created Keep Pubs Pumping. A project that teams up pubs with freelance graphic designers and illustrators to create bespoke Tees and Totes, with all the profits going to the pubs.
So far, they have partnered with some of London’s favourite locals, including The Dove on Broadway Market, The Star of Bethnal Green, The Glory in Haggerston and The Blue Posts in Soho.
