Budget direct has released a new campaign with 303 MullenLowe.
Titled ‘Cocoon’, the TVC sees Sarge and his sidekick Jacs investigating a couple who are stuck in the webbing of a gigantic spider. Of course, what really captures Sarge’s interest is why they have “stuck” with the same old, high priced insurer for so long.
The campaign continues the ‘Insurance Solved’ positioning for Budget Direct.
Jonathan Kerr, CMO at Budget Direct says: “It’s a mystery why all insurance provider decisions are not based simply on the combination of Product, Service and Price. Much like Sarge, we encourage people to do the math and not be distracted by novelties and distraction marketing propositions”.
He continues: “We feel our latest ad brings that ‘Why?’ question to life, in our typically entertaining, unusual but relatable way.”
The spot was created by 303 MullenLowe and shot by Danny Kleinman through Rattling Stick / Goodoil Films and photographed by Mat Baker through Louis & Co.
“We’re immensely proud of the work we do with Budget Direct. This latest example is true to the campaign, in that it’s entertaining and engaging, builds the brand and drives sales. A wonderful example of the business benefits of long term thinking and consistency of positioning!” said Nick Cleaver CEO of 303 MullenLowe Australia.
The creative will run across TV, cinema, online, outdoor/indoor display and radio channels, with TV kicking off this Sunday, 29th September.
