Bucks Music Group: September 2020 Sync Update

It’s been a busy month at Bucks, and the team have got loads of exciting stuff to show for it.

Premier League 2021 Season Promo

First and foremost, with the Premier League season getting underway, Sky Sports put together a dramatic, inspiring promo to get fans excited. Making use of Step Out – Jose Gonzalez, the spot reflects on ongoing uncertainty, and how sport can be a kind of normality to keep people moving forward.

Brave New World

The dystopian, science fiction drama is making its way to the UK. Telling a modernised version of the 1932 novel of the same name, Brave New World makes use of the appropriately glitchy and futuristic Particle G1 by Hannah Peel, co-written by Erland Cooper.

Life

The upcoming BBC drama Life is a spinoff of 2015’s Doctor Foster. Following the story of four main characters who live near each other, Life explores ideas of loneliness, and how it manifests particularly in big cities. The show makes use of Juanita Stein’s reflective Stargazer. Although this track was released back in 2017, the sync comes in good time, as we prepare for the release of Juanita Stein’s new album in October.

Long Way Up

Starting on Apple TV+ earlier this month, Long Way Up is a docu-series following a motorcycle journey made by Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman, from Ushuaia (Argentina) to Los Angeles (USA). In episode one, you can hear the feel-good 50 Foot Woman by Hannah Williams & Affirmations!
