Bucks Music Group 2021 Sync Update

Creative 18 Add to collection

The group offers up a snapshot of its favourite work from 2021 so far

Bucks Music Group 2021 Sync Update

Gucci, Bronski Beat and Jackie Collins all share a spot in Bucks Music Groups latest sync update.

'Illusion of Time' - Daniel Avery - Gucci 'How We Met' (China)

Gucci's recent 'How We Met' reveals a new collection of ready-to-wear apparel and accessories to celebrate Chinese Valentine’s Day 2021. The Gucci Les Pommes collection arrive embellished with playful and romantic apple-and-heart motifs and is sound tracked by the etheral 'Illusion of Time' by Daniel Avery.

'Smalltown Boy' - Bronski Beat - British Bogue 'Happy Pride, From The Middle Of Nowhere'

Directed by Ned Botwood for British Vogue, the world’s leading premium lifestyle and fashion entertainment channel, as part of their 2021 Pride Series, this short film spotlights queer people living – and thriving – in the countryside, using the iconic 1984 heartfelt cry for liberation track that is Bronski Beat's hit 'Smalltown Boy' to set the tone.

‘Vitamin C’ – CAN – Lady Boss: The Jackie Collins Story

Lady Boss tells the story of Jackie Collins, one of the world’s most celebrated authors, and an icon of Feminism in the 1980s. The film makes use of Vitamin C by CAN, the experimental Rock band widely seen as pioneers of the German krautrock scene. Their influence is far-reaching; Happy Mondays have cited them as an influence, Brian Eno has made a short tribute film to the group, and Radiohead have covered their music. This use serves as example of their ever-growing cultural influence.

TV Roundup

After a summer of great TV, there are plenty of recent syncs to shout about! Including: Channel 4's This Way Up S2 featuring both contemporary banger 'I'm Alive' by TTRRUUCES as well as 90's hit 'C'est La Vie' - B*Witched. The BBC/Apple series Trying S2 featured 'Regardless' by Raye and 'Go Wild' by Safari Youth. And obviously not to miss out the nation's most-watched show of the summer, Love Island, but with 10+ tracks sync'd throughout the series we won't list them all here!
