Matthew Charlton, CEO of Brothers and Sisters, has today announced that the agency will open MAKING, a new type of cross platform in-house production company. It is being launched to meet the ever increasing trend for brands to have an “always on” relationship with consumers across every technological platform and yet require quality, speed and pricing to match.
MAKING is evolving from Brothers and Sisters’ award winning expertise in mobile, digital and online film. Kevin Brown, the longstanding Digital Director and board member of the agency, will be promoted to MAKING’S MD having previously led the in-house production of campaigns such as Streetmuseum for the Museum of London, Resident Evil 6, Street Tag with Channel 4 and the upcoming launch of Blu e-cigarettes.
"We are constantly finding that Clients’ media ambitions to have a constant stream of great creative ideas across mobile and digital are not well catered for by most creative agencies. Brothers and Sisters is a truly innovative agency but we also have the scale and unique expertise to make this type of business a real force. " Matthew Charlton, CEO of Brothers and Sisters.
MAKING will start working immediately with Brothers and Sisters’ client base including Sky Sports, Center Parcs and Blu. Kevin will work alongside ECD and Founder Andy Fowler to put meaningful mobile and digital communication at the heart of a brand. It will be based in same building as Brothers and Sisters and share resource when required.
“For years, Brothers and Sisters has been a centre of excellence for in-house production. It’s embedded in our DNA thanks to the wealth of production experts who are at the heart of our business. Existing and future clients will benefit from having a dedicated agency to give brands ‘no-compromise’ creative solutions with a commercial advantage. MAKING will give clients best-in-class production with the strategic and creative brilliance of Brothers and Sisters." Kevin Brown, MD MAKING
