Bi-coastal creative shop Brickyard VFX provided seamless visual effects for “Mrs. Robinson,” the latest sexy spot for Carl’s Jr./Hardee’s via 72andSunny. The spot, directed by HSI’s Chris Applebaum, features supermodel Heidi Klum sporting a fresh take on the familiar eponymous role. Brickyard has a long-standing relationship with the creative team on various Carl’s Jr./Hardee’s spots over the years, and with director Chris Applebaum on recent buzzworthy hits “Sun Tan,” which aired during the Super Bowl, and “Drive-In” featuring Sports Illustrated cover girl Kate Upton. Brickyard’s trusted talent and long history with the brand made them the perfect collaborators for this latest iconic ad.
“It’s always a treat to contribute to these spots – they’re so fun and really resonate in pop culture,” commented Brickyard’s Lead Visual Effects Artist Patrick Poulatian. “Chris and this creative team have great instincts and have done amazing things for this brand.”
“The Brickyard team have been great allies for us over the years,” said 72andSunny’s Senior Film Producer, Molly McFarland. “It’s comforting knowing that their level of polish is always paramount.”
