Award winning social media agency We Are Social is launching in the U.S. with an office in New York, expanding We Are Social's footprint to eight offices across five continents.
The launch follows the formation of regional hubs in São Paulo and Singapore last year. With its expansion to North America, We Are Social becomes the only specialist social media agency with truly global capabilities.
The agency's initial North American client roster will include adidas and De Beers Diamond Jewellery.
We Are Social New York is led by Managing Director Leila Thabet. One of the first senior hires at We Are Social's London headquarters in 2009, Thabet helped grow the agency into the globally recognized brand it is today. In the UK, she led successful social media engagements for Coca-Cola, Unilever and Tesco, before moving on to develop and lead the social media practice at Isobar. She returned to We Are Social in late 2011 to spearhead the agency's North American offering.
