Brandon transitions from Dagger, where he was creator and executive director of Butter.ATL

In March 2020, Omid Farhang launched Atlanta-based creative agency Majority with founding Partners Shaquille O’Neal, Asmirh Davis (chief strategy officer) and Jorge Hernandez (chief marketing officer). One year later, the agency now welcomes its newest partner, Brandon Butler, in the role chief content officer.

Brandon joins Majority from Dagger, where he was the executive director of Butter.ATL, Atlanta’s premiere culture channel. Through Brandon’s vision and ingenuity, Butter has become one of the most prominent voices of culture, perspective, insight and education in Atlanta. Brandon was named to Adweek’s Creative 100 in 2021 and Atlanta Magazine’s 500 Most Powerful Leaders in 2020 and 2021. With his move to Majority, Brandon also secures majority ownership and control of Butter.ATL moving forward.

“Atlanta is the epicentre of culture and Majority is building something truly special,” said Brandon. “I’m excited to join a team that delivers amazing work while leading with an innovative approach to diversity.”

Brandon’s new leadership role operates at the intersection of creativity, strategy and production. “Brandon’s multitude of talents make him the quintessential problem-solver and teammate,” said Omid, CEO of Majority. “He helps us harness the profound power of Atlanta culture to put brands into pop culture.”

Brandon's unconventional path to Majority includes stops at Dagger, Accenture, Edelman, Public Broadcasting Atlanta and NBA Digital. He has become an in-demand speaker and panellist in the Atlanta region and beyond, sharing the stage with the likes of Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens, Stacey Abrams, Killer Mike and Ryan Gravel.

Brandon earned his degree in information technology from Georgia Southern University and received his MBA from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He officially begins his new chapter at Majority effective April 11th.
