Brand New School announces the addition of Arnaud Boutin to its director roster. Arnauad’s diverse portfolio connects talent, narratives, and visual techniques into work that defines brands.
Parisian-born Arnaud Boutin began his career as an art director and illustrator for Colette, Vogue, and I-D. He launched his directing career as the AB of the ABϟCDϟCD directing collaborative, who made quick names for themselves with 2009’s Lily Allen music video Fuck You. Arnaud went solo in 2015 and has since lent his creative vision to brands including American Express, Range Rover, Absolut, and AXE. Additionally, he has collaborated with record labels such as Ed Banger, EMI, Sony, Kitsune; and numerous fashion brands like Louis Vuitton, Vogue, and Opening Ceremony. Arnaud is also a prolific author and illustrator who is globally commissioned for advertising and editorial projects.
Says Arnaud: “Joining Brand New School is incredibly auspicious for me and my career. The value they place on visual voice and design-driven solutions are perfectly aligned with my filmmaking philosophy. I love their diverse approach and am eager to continue creating with them.”
“We’ve been watching Arnaud effortlessly reinvent worlds with design, talent, and whimsy for the better part of a decade.” shares Devin Brook, managing partner at Brand New School. “His ability to use design as a solution to solve complex problems is a natural fit for Brand New School, and what we offer our clients.”
Brand New School has been helping brands shape their visual voice through inspired design-driven solutions for two decades. We’re not a school or an agency. And while we make things, we’re not simply a production company, visual effects house or motion studio. This identity crisis has served us well over the years, leading to creative opportunities while shaping a diverse team and portfolio along the way. We’re connected by our love for design, humanity, and curiosity, and how they intersect to move us forward.Brand New School, 6 months ago
