Boys+Girls’ Rory Hamilton Announced on Film Craft Jury for Cannes Lions

This week, Cannes Lions announced their jury line-up for the Festival of Creativity which will take place from 21st - 25th June this year. Among the global list of creatives, Rory Hamilton, chief creative officer and Founder of Boys+Girls has been announced on the Film Craft Jury. 

While the 2020 festival was cancelled due to the global Covid-19 pandemic, the work didn’t stop and this year they will be running two festivals concurrently so the juries will be awarding two years worth of work. The Festival itself will go ahead this year but it will be a fully digital experience and judging will also be remote. 

As chief creative officer of Ireland’s leading independent agency, Rory has judged many other international award shows including D&AD, The One Show, LIAs, ADCE, and Dubai Lynx. Commenting on the Cannes appointment Rory said, “It’s a privilege to be included in the jury for Cannes Lions, not to mention for the Film Craft Lion jury which is arguably the most sought after and iconic Lion to win. Many careers are built on the back of winning a Film Craft Lion and I’m looking forward to joining some very impressive creatives on the jury to see the best global work fight it out and decide who will take home the coveted Lion.”
