Boys + Girls Promotes from within for Head of Digital Business Role
Sarah Sherry, business director at Boys + Girls, has been promoted to head of digital business at the independent creative agency.

Sarah brings her 15 years' experience to the new role, having worked on both client and agency side between Dublin and London. In 2015 Sarah joined Boys + Girls as business director working across clients such as Kerry Group, Energia and ŠKODA. Before this Sarah had roles as digital director and VP of marketing at Virgin Records UK; working with tech giants such as Apple, Google, Spotify and YouTube developing strategic partnerships with artists. Returning to Ireland, Sarah joined In the Company of Huskies.

After winning several competitive pitches for expanded digital remits on accounts such as Jose Cuervo, Three Ireland and Ulster Bank, Boys + Girls have an established reputation for creating effective digital focused campaigns. In the past year alone, Boys + Girls have produced a broad range of digitally focused work as diverse as programmatic display for Ulster Bank to creating Ireland’s first branded Snapchat filter for Jose Cuervo’s global Day of the Dead campaign.

Speaking about the new role, Sarah said: “Having previously been at the forefront of digital thinking in London and Dublin I’m thrilled to be returning to specialise in digital.  Boys + Girls continue relentlessly to prove that great creative work delivers business growth for our clients and I’m excited to work with the great creative minds at B+G and all our clients to deliver world class work in all digital formats and guises”

Sarah joins Shane Casey and Aoife Murphy in driving this aspect of the business forward and will report to Patrick Meade, MD and partner. Commenting on the announcement, Patrick said: “We have the skills and talent in house to produce world class digital work and we want to continue to collaborate with the best in the business to ensure we produce the best possible work for our clients, across all channels and formats. That’s why we’re delighted to promote Sarah to this role as we believe that she has the experience, talent and vision to lead our digital business strategy in a manner that will be compelling and commercially attractive for existing and new clients.”
