Boys + Girls, Ireland’s number one independently owned creative agency, has expanded its Board of Directors for the first time to include three key members of staff, Aoife Murphy (executive strategic director), Derek Doyle (executive production director) and Caroline Keogh (executive relationship director).
They will join current board directors and agency founders Patrick Meade, Margaret Gilsenan, Pat Stephenson and Rory Hamilton on the board in addition to two non-executive members – Peter Byers and chairman, Robert Senior.
Boys + Girls managing partner Patrick Meade said: “In a business where the founders are still involved day to day, we felt that our ambitious goals for the agency would be best achieved by promoting and fostering the talent within the agency and giving these individuals a well-deserved chance to input to the strategic direction and running of the agency.”
Speaking about each of the appointments, Patrick said: “Derek has been key since joining 6 years ago in developing the production department to what it is today, and it was important this resource was represented at the highest level in the agency. Caroline has been central in developing existing client relationships and in our recent new business wins. Meanwhile, Aoife has been key in developing our strategic offering and delivering integrated solutions to all our clients and will now lead the planning department.”
This announcement comes as the agency is back from Cannes Lions, fresh from their first talk on stage last Friday 21st June.
