Born Licensing’s David Born Featured in Licensing.biz Power 50

David Born, Owner and Director of Born Licensing, has been named as one of the most influential people in licensing. The Licensing.biz Power 50 featuring the most influential people in licensing was revealed at Brand Licensing Europe 2018.

In the months leading up to BLE 2018, Licensing.biz tasked the industry with casting their votes for Power 50 listers across the five categories: Rising Stars, Licensees, Licensors, Licensing Agents and Licensing Legends.

The industry responded in kind and sent in an overwhelming number of votes for the people they believed to be pushing boundaries and driving innovation in the licensing space for the last 12 months.

Born Licensing’s David Born was named as the #1 agent, it was revealed.

“The response was crazy and whittling it all down to the final 50 during the course of an intense judging period was extremely tough,” said Robert Hutchins, editor of Licensing.biz and this year’s Licensing.biz Power 50.

The Power 50 also featured influential people from Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Rovio, The Pokemon Company and NBC Universal.

Born Licensing is the firm responsible for the licensing of He-Man and Skeletor for Moneysupermarket, SpongeBob for T-Mobile, G.I Joe for Subaru, The Muppets for Barclaycard and many more.
