M&C Saatchi and Boots UK have unveiled a celebratory digital content initiative – ‘Feel Like New Live’ – bringing the world of health and beauty into the homes of Boots of customers via a 90 minute live-streamed programme hosted on the Boots UK Facebook page this week.
The event – streamed live from 7:30pm – 9pm on Thursday 27 February from our Nottingham store – supports the retailer’s ‘Let’s Feel Good’ positioning, inspiring customers to take active steps towards feeling good, and refresh their health and beauty regimes.
The programme will give Boots fans the chance to learn about the latest hair and beauty trends, from tips on white-out nails and creating a sleek ponytail to anti-ageing and electric lips. As well as the main programme, viewers will be able to watch a further 3 live feeds focusing on hair, nails, and lips.
Viewers will have their questions answered by an expert panel via a live Q&A. The panel includes Lewis Pallett (Hair Stylist from Mark Hill), Glenis Baptiste (Nail Expert), Vanesa Guallar (Official SEVENTEEN Makeup Artist), and Geraldine Freer (No7 Advisor). A 3 for 2 off on haircare, cosmetics, and skincare is being run alongside the campaign.
Camilla Kemp, Managing Partner at M&C Saatchi, said: “Boots is unquestionably one of the leaders in this sector, and it’s exciting to be working alongside them, helping them to lead the way in terms of delivering engaging and valuable content to its target audience. This campaign will bring Boots’ expertise and offering to life, while demonstrating the brand’s commitment to helping its customers feel good.”
Kristy McCready, Senior PR Manager at Boots UK, added: “This event is all about inspiring our customers to feel like new, offering them practical, useful advice that will enhance their health and beauty routines. The initiative will demonstrate simple ways to feel good, while giving our fans access to advice from the leading experts in this space.”
M&C Saatchi has been responsible for the creative output of the initiative, while also driving traffic to the Boots UK Facebook page – which has 670k likes to date – via paid and non-paid social channels. The agency was appointed as Boots’ digital creative agency in 2013.
