This new BMW Motorrad film beautiful captures the moods and feelings experienced on a road trip from San Francisco to Reno.Created by VCCP Berlin and directed by BWGTBLD’s Philipp Ramhofer, it showcases Columbia-born Andy Salazar as the modern-day cowboy, living his passion and chasing his dreams. 

The film was entirely shot on film to “expose all the unadorned and un-staged moments” and “underline the pure and authentic character of the cast and the trip”. 

“When I received the script I knew instantly that if I won the pitch it had to be shot on super 16mm,” says director Philipp. “We treated the whole spot as a kind of passion project because it was a very tight budget but we still wanted to make it happen to be shot on film.”

The DOP was Kate Arizmendi, it was edited by Christian Zimmermann and coloured by Simon Bourne at Framestore.
