Creative agency BMB has appointed business director, Matt Bonny, as its new head of account management, with immediate effect.
Since joining BMB in 2019 from VCCP, Matt has played an important role in the agency's creative output, managing campaigns for Nike across Europe, Farrow & Ball, innocent and Gymbox. He was also part of the team which won the pitch for Italian premium beer brand Menabrea, the oldest active brewery in Italy, announced last month.
As head of account management, Matt will oversee BMB’s account team, with a remit to build and grow the expertise of the client-facing account team. This promotion recognises his contribution to the agency’s rapid growth in 2022.
Jason Cobbold, CEO of BMB commented “After a bumper year of growth for BMB, including eight new business wins in the past year, this promotion reflects Matt’s stellar contribution to the business. He is well-liked and trusted by the whole team, as well as our clients, and this is a thoroughly deserved promotion.”
Matt Bonny added “I’m really excited to take on this challenge. There is a real momentum within the agency at the moment, and I’m looking forward to building on that. It’s been an amazing few years at BMB and I’m looking forward to playing a part in creating and nurturing the agency's next wave of business leaders.”
BMB’s previous head of account management was Sarah Carolin, who took on the role of managing partner in 2022.
