Quirky pieces created for E4 as part of Channel 4’s rebrand

Blinkink's Nicos Livesey, Stevie Gee and Essy May's E4 Idents are Weird and Wonderful

Channel 4 has released a series of new idents for its E4 Sub-channel that were created by Blinkink directors Nicos Livesey, Stevie Gee and Essy May.

The idents take the viewer out of this world and intermix styles, genres and visual imagery to brew a wild mix of in between programme break creative.

Have a read below and check out the links on the blink site to see them for yourself.

Stevie Gee & Essy May "Cult"

Cults come in all shapes and sizes, like people who are really into craft ale.

But in this ident it's a group of colourful aliens with third eyes in their necks. Essy May's sci-fi flair meets Stevie Gee's psychedelic style as they mix live action with CG animation.

Nicos Livesey "Doghead"

Nicos Livesey combines 2D animation and live action to create a bizarre film for E4. Stranger Things meets the Muppets as our protagonist, a man with a dog's head, goes on a quest through the peaceful English countryside to find the iconic Lambie-Nairn E4 logo.

Solving puzzles you can improve your dexterity and problem solving skills.
