Blink MD Paul Weston said: “With such a wealth of award winning films under his belt now is the perfect time for David to concentrate on his directing career. When I first saw David's work I thought I was watching something directed by a big established director. He has such a natural talent for performance and storytelling. I believe directing is his true calling. that combined with his knowledge and understanding of the advertising industry and the importance of an idea is something that I am incredibly excited by.
Similarly excited about his new home David Dearlove said: “As a creative, blink was always top of the list when it came to looking for a director who could bring my scripts to life. I've always loved that they don’t constrain themselves to a particular genre or style, only the pursuit of a good idea. to find myself joining them is equal parts surreal and exciting, and can’t wait to get started.”
