Company will provide remote tabletop shoots for FMCG clients and a wide scope of motion-control shoot services

Due to the changes in the advertising market caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, Blackfish studio opens its Warsaw branch introducing logistic and technological solutions allowing safe studio shooting. All the governmental and SAR (Polish Marketing Communication Association) regulations are strictly respected and the highest hygienic standards and procedures have been introduced. Blackfish's clients and talent are 100% remotely connected, keeping them creatively involved and safe.

Blackfish will provide tabletop shoots for FMCG clients and a wide scope of motion-control shoot services. The company is also a motion control and film lighting equipment manufacturer under the Alan Blackfish brand. Maciej Zemojcin will lead the branch as a partner and executive producer. This is partly a continuation of his technological shoots from Mniam.tv Studio, which he left in October 2019.

Because of the pandemic, the crew has been reduced to the absolute minimum necessary. Typical crew roles are now combined and divided amongst a smaller number of crew members. This allowed Blackfish to limit the number of people present on set to less then 10 people, and at the same time, keep a reasonable shoot pace. The key talents physically working are:

- Director and DOP: Arek Zylka

- Food Stylist: Ewa Gebska

Blackfish's company mission is to redefine the shooting process at a global level using technological tools. The company owns tech compatible with mainstream film equipment manufacturers and often surpasses them in a modern approach. This allows a limited crew and production cost. This shooting model enables Blackfish to smoothly introduce remote shooting process, including remote directing.

"We have a grip on technology which makes us one of the most promising young and innovative companies in the film and advertising industries," says Maciej Zemojcin, executive producer of Blackfish Warsaw. "Our goal is to transform the shooting process, integrating post production at a level never achieved before.”

Blackfish will focus on 51% of the Polish local market, but will also continue to remotely work with global clients. Because of the travel limitations, foreign clients and partners from Asia, Middle East and US are facing the same challenges and continue cooperation with Blackfish in a remote mode.
