Black Madre's Playful Characters Celebrate Summer Moments with Kibon Ice Cream

Good moments in summer are those that help us make the most of the warmth and sunshine. So, to celebrate this, ice cream brand Kibon teamed up with the creative agency Euphoria and Sao Paolo-based design studio Black Madre to develop a fresh campaign for the season. The colourful characters, seen enjoying and working in the summer, bring a fun, creative and modern tone, showing how Kibon's products pair well with the weather and vibe of this time of year.

The key visuals and animations developed by Black Madre explored everyday situations such as: 'In the rush of work', 'Going to the club', 'Going for a run', 'Marathoning the series', 'Rolling with the dogs'. Though varied, all of these to show how ice cream is welcome at any time of the day.

Created to reposition the brand after a long period without advertising, a total of seven key visuals, 47 stickers and seven animations were developed especially to mark the hottest and most beloved season of the year. With stylised and modern features, the characters and stickers were designed with an angled camera perspective, generating movement and dynamism for each piece developed. The artwork also featured exaggerated anatomies and a palette depicting the brand's colours, combined with warm, vibrant tones. The visual identities were deployed beyond OOH uses, such as in one-off actions at Big Brother Brasil 2024 and the Lollapallooza Brasil 2024 Festival.

"We were very happy and proud of the campaign, not only for the project itself with characters full of personality and vibrant colours portraying the best season of the year, but also for creating something for a brand that is so nostalgic for us, which has been with us since we were children," said Igor Ras, Black Madre's head of art.
