Biscuit Filmworks UK Signs Martin Aamund

Biscuit Filmworks UK today announced the addition of Martin Aamund to its roster. Based in Copenhagen, Aamund is an acclaimed documentary and commercial director whose work has been recognized with top honors from Clio, Cannes Lions, Epica, Eurobest, and The New York Festivals International Advertising Awards, among others.

Starting his career crafting documentaries for the UK’s Channel 4 and France’s Canal+, Aamund is known for conveying a sense of realism and grounded humor amid enthralling visuals. His international background – originally from Denmark, he has also lived in Turkey, Hong Kong, Spain, and the U.S. – offers keen insight and cultural fluidity. Over his career in commercials, Aamund has worked with top global brands including Budweiser, Peugeot, Nokia, Johnnie Walker, O2, Samsung, McDonald’s, and more.

“I’ve always respected biscuit UK and the work they produce,” commented Aamund. “With some of their recent roster additions they’ve picked up some terrific directors, which aligns with my style and made me think now would be the right time to join. I’m very excited to be part of the team.”

Aamund joins biscuit UK from Hotspur & Argyle, and is also represented by various production companies worldwide. Click here to view Aamund's reel.
