Big Sync Music Introduces: L Devine And HÆLOS

Electronic, trip-hop act HÆLOS and pop singer-songwriter L Devine recently played an exclusive gig at London’s White City House for a VIP audience of Big Sync’s clients, partners and friends.

The original and iconic BBC Television HQ, now the latest private members’ club from Soho House, was the perfect setting for Big Sync’s second new music showcase of the year, in partnership with BMG Music Publishing and Soho House Group. Guests relaxed and mingled, enjoying free drinks and refreshments, within the club’s signature interiors that allude to the building’s prime time during the 60s and 70s.

L Devine, the 22-year-old singer-songwriter from Whitley Bay, delivered a fresh, polished and energetic set with her band. They performed tracks from her 2017 and 2018 EPs, her bittersweet song 'In Love With Your Daughter' plus her playful new single 'Naked Alone' which was recently BBC Radio 1 Scott Mills’ Tune of the Week and is also on BBC Introducing’s Pride Hot List. L Devine is listed on YouTube Music’s ‘Ones to Watch’ for 2019.

HÆLOS, who also played at this year’s Glastonbury, stunned the crowd with a hypnotic set including tracks from their new album 'Any Random Kindness' - which breaks ‘rich new sonic ground while exploring modern anxieties’. (Clash, May 2019). Highlights of the night were 'Kyoto' and 'End of World Party.'

Between sets, Big Sync’s co-founder and vinyl junkie Phil Lawlor treated guests to some of his favourite funk and soul tracks. Due to popular demand, Phil’s shared his playlist here.

Earlier this year, Big Sync partnered with Universal to hold its first live showcase at The Ned, featuring artists Rukhsana Merrise, Tommy Ashby, Rinngs and Allman Brown.
