Big Buoy Expands CG Offering with Appointment of Kristaan Cain

Full service post-production studio, Big Buoy, has announced the appointment of VFX supervisor and CG generalist, Kristaan Cain.

With more than 14 years’ experience, Kristaan boasts a wealth of knowledge and joins the team after holding previous roles at a number of VFX facilities, including The Mill, ILM, Double Negative and MPC.

His VFX expertise has been lent to an extensive list of Hollywood blockbusters, including The Jungle Book, Maleficent and Godzilla, while short form clients include Sony, Sky and Hennessy, to name but a few.

Of his new role, Cain commented: "Over the last decade or so, it's become possible to be digitally nomadic and follow the film and advertising movements around the globe. The work being produced by Big Buoy is already at an incredibly high standard and I’m beyond excited to contribute to their ongoing successes.”
