Bibi Bourelly and Sid Lee's Short Film 'Perfect Night' Captures True Essence of Modern Hip-hop

Sid Lee, in collaboration with Def Jam Records, just released a short film featuring German singer and songwriter Bibi Bourelly. Bibi became most well known after she wrote "Bitch Better Have My Money" for Rihanna.  

Since that song was released, Bibi's been making waves in the music industry as a hit hip-hop songwriter and singer who can pen some original banging tunes. In the film she and Earl St. Clair share their opinions on the music industry, song writing and how to express yourself as an artist in a modern world which she believes relies more on a musician's personal brand image and marketing team rather than creating talent and creating good quality music.

 

The film is about the story of the official launch of the song “Perfect” which happened on June 28, 2016 in Chinatown NY. The underground event, organised as well by Sid Lee Collective, was a massive success with a jam-packed house.
