Back Market was founded in France 2014 and quickly rose to become the market leader for refurbished smart phones and home electronics. After the local success, the time came to explore new territories - the US market. The United States is a country reluctant towards the idea of refurbished products and Back Market turned to BETC Paris to create a concept that would catch the attention of even the most sceptical potential customers.

BETC and Back Market decided to organise the biggest influencer mobilisation ever done on Twitter. Without the influencers even knowing.

Back Market and BETC Paris managed to recycle more than three hundred celebrities’ old tweets, making Ed Sheeran, 50 Cent, Katy Perry and many more the brand’s unwitting ambassadors.
