In 2013, the biggest French lottery jackpot, the French National Lottery Super Loto was in the middle of the cold, grim winter.
BETC decided to create a little gift to keep people warm and bring some luck for the big day.
“The Lucky Gloves” were designed - a special pair of gloves with the index and middle finger stitched together to make people cross their fingers and turn cold hands into lucky ones.
10,000 pairs of Lucky Gloves were handed out to happy people in five cities in France on a nippy day in December.
Creative Director Olivier Apers says: "We all know the saying "cold hands warm heart". With LOTO's lucky gloves, we wanted people to have both!"
Perhaps one of the lucky winners wore the Lucky Gloves, we can’t be sure, but we do know one thing - that a lot of lucky hands were protected from the cold.
