BETC Euro RSCG launches BETC Startup Lab

A strategic consulting and creative unit forstart-ups.
Mentored by Carole Zibi (LinkedIn), the BETC Startup LAB is a strategic consulting andcreative initiative designed for innovative start-ups.
The BETC Startup Lab is run by Clarisse Lacarrau, BETC's Associate Planning Director and Olivier Vigneaux, Managing Director of BETCDigital.
Kicking off with four French start-ups all in different stages of their development:
- My Little Paris (whose Founder, Fany Pechiodat, was recently named 'most influential young digital personality of the year 2011' at the Hub Awards
- Vestiairede copines (a collaborative fashion site, which is in the process of expanding its operations beyond France with a multilingual web site and is planning to launch October 2011 in the UK)
- e-loue (a private rentals service)
- (an innovative social networking and geo-location platform focusing on cookery).
Raphael De Andreis, CEO of BETC, explains theapproach:
“We came up with this idea during the e-G8meeting in May. It is obvious that start-ups must become top brands to succeedand that agencies, for their part, must improve their understanding of thesenew kinds of companies and evolve in order to learn how to deal with t hem”.
