During the Jubilee festivities you might have missed Director Ben Winston’s formidable documentary ‘On her Majesty’s Service’. Here is another chance to catch this beautifully shot, funny, touching and ultimately, very inspiring film.
This is the story of Gary Barlow as he embarks on an incredible journey to make one of the most memorable records in many years.
Given the task by Buckingham Palace to create the official song for the Diamond Jubilee, Gary travels around The Commonwealth searching high and wide for the most talented musicians across the globe. Recording them all in their own beautiful environments, he tries to create a track that reflects the Commonwealth. Along the way Gary meets amazing characters with real stories to tell. He also chats to Prince Charles and Prince Harry, getting advice on what the Queen will want him to produce. The final scene shows Gary visit to Windsor Castle, to play his track to his most daunting audience yet; the Queen.
