Awarding-winning director of short films, spots, and music videos joins strongest female directing roster in the world

Believe Media Adds Gemma Lee to US and UK Director Roster

Director Gemma Lee, known for her performance/dialogue work as well as for her breathtaking imagery, has signed with Believe Media for representation in the US as well as in the UK. Hailing from the Isle of Mull in Scotland, Lee began her professional career in Australia after studying writing and directing at The Victoria College of the Arts’ film school in Melbourne.

Her short film, “The Wake,” was voted Best of the Fest at the Palm Springs International ShortFest and screened at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2010 and again in 2013.

Since then, Lee has worked with such agencies as McCann, Ogilvy and George Patterson Y&R in Australia for clients including Hyundai, Powerbeats, Palmolive, and Tourism Tasmania.

She was featured as a female director to watch on the Huffington Post in 2015.

In the US, Believe Media is a certified woman-owned business.
