Thomas Thomas Films director Tiny Bullet directs ‘Be More Jamey’, the TV spot at the heart of hair and beauty brand Treatwell's ‘Book hair and beauty, like it’s 2019’ campaign, developed by Treatwell's in-house creative team.

The TV spot launches in the UK and the Netherlands on May 6th. 

Tiny Bullet is known for her work with Celeste Barber and Lovehoney. "It was refreshing to add some personality and subtle observational comedy to a hair and beauty brand,” she says. “The challenge was to make Jamey, our hair and beauty boss, appear likeable and not smug or self-congratulatory. So the casting and balance of performance was key. My favourite scene features Mike who is trying to book a wax in a busy office. From the storyboard stage I always wanted to hint at which part of Mike’s body he wanted to wax. Using quick cutaways of a hole punch and sound design to disguise his voice we allow the rhythm of the edit to communicate what he is saying in a more unexpected and interesting way.”
