BCAA Offers ‘Help’ in Moments of Chaos in Ad by DDB Canada

Life descends into chaos with an overflowing bath, smoking oven and a car crushed by a tree in Arni Thor Jonson’s latest work through Soft Citizen and DDB. The comical film shows a number of everyday examples of life’s unfortunate scenarios, as Canadian insurance broker, BCAA, highlights its non-automotive insurance plan.

Icelandic born Arni Thor Jonsson is also part-owner of production company Republik with his brother (and fellow Dark Energy director) Lalli. 

Dark Energy’s Matt Brown comments: "Arni is a highly capable and diverse visual and performance director with a particular knack for achieving both charming and authentic performances from children and adults alike."

His film Gumtree ‘Piano’ was recently back in the press when Fold 7’s Ryan Newey gave the John Lewis team a ribbing for their recent Elton John ad, comically writing, ‘We hope you don’t mind, we hope you don’t mind, that we put down in words, how wonderful it is, that you were inspired by our work.’
