BBVA and DDB Colombia's 'Uga Uga' Campaign Challenges Colombian Banking Habits
Last year, the financial industry in Colombia was shocked by the  'Uga Uga' campaign, which challenged the way Colombians use banking products.

The campaign aimed to drive users towards a digital transformation.

The new concept based on 'BBVA is right there, on your phone'; was strategically launched during the last elections for President. It shows how phones are underutilised for financial needs in an age where there are digital solutions for every single daily problem.

Produced by Rhayuela directed by the renowned Argentine filmmaker Julián Montesano, the campaign tells new stories of the 'Uga Uga'. A cavemen with everyday issues that can be solved from the mobile and he doesn’t see how. The series focus on three product innovations: Online Payment with Debit, Online Account, and Card Blocking.
