BB&T Bank has selected The Tombras Group as agency of record, following a comprehensive, yearlong search.
BB&T is one of the largest financial services holding companies in the US with $222.9 billion in assets and market capitalisation of approximately $37.4 billion as of September 30, 2018. Based in Winston-Salem, NC, BB&T operates more than 1,900 financial centres in 15 states and Washington, DC and offers a wide range of financial services including retail and commercial banking, investments, insurance, wealth management, asset management, mortgage, corporate banking, capital markets and specialised lending.
Tombras’ responsibilities include strategic planning, brand creative, media planning and buying and transforming the brand’s digital presence to better meet the needs of BB&T’s growing client base.
The brand’s objectives are to build awareness, consideration and accounts openings, continuing their growth as one of the largest banks in the US. The Knoxville-based, full service agency will launch new brand work in 2019, with the aim to expand and evolve BB&T’s existing, client-centric brand promise, 'All we see is you'.
