BBGUN is the directing duo of Maxim Bohichik & Alex Bergman. Represented at Partizan, the two have been directing together since 2008 when they collaborated on their first video for Kid Cudi's Day 'N' Nite. Each has a background in filmmaking, Alex being an acclaimed cinematographer and Maxim as an editor. BBGUN’s uniquely cinematic style has been a signature in all of their work, helping them gain a solid foothold in an ever expanding world of music video directors.
December 20th sees the release of their most recent promo for Swedish house group; Swedish House Mafia and their new single ‘Antidote’. Set in a Tokyo nightclub, with an array of stunningly sexy females sashaying across the screen, we, the audience become drawn into the scenario through the eyes of an unknown hero as steels from a bevy of suit clad gangsters.
Maxim Bohichick said of the work, "It's rare to have the opportunity to work on a music video for a song that can provide such a cinematic score. Because of the electronic and primarily instrumental nature of Swedish House Mafia's music, we were able to create a short action film and in doing so, we had our best filmmaking experience to date."
Alex Bergman added "Our story is told from the POV of an underdog Robin Hood and his gang of misfits. A love letter to Yakuza movies and POV cinematography from Bogart to Bigelow, we set out to create a relentlessly visceral video. Hope you like it."
