BBDO Partners with German Art Directors Club for Regielounge 57

BBDO‘s Regielounge (Directors Lounge) has joined forces with the German Art Directors Club (ADC) to create a special double event: The ADC Digital Experience during the day, and the Regielounge in the evening.

The events will take place on 21st November 2019, at The Capitol Theater in Düsseldorf.

“Contemporary directors need to be digital experts; and on the other hand, video is the one format that is really influencing and shaping the creative digital communication today. By combining our events and the common headliner, we want to create an exciting bridge between these two disciplines for our guests,” says Alina Schlaier, ADC board member, curator and design director at denkwerk.

Steffen Gentis, the chief production officer of BBDO, who is the initiator and host of the Regielounge, says: “The different perspectives of both events complement each other perfectly. Beyond the common themes and presentations, the Regielounge and the ADC Digital Congress offer the perfect opportunity for these two interrelated industries to personally meet and interact with each other.”

The Regielounge has been showcasing directors since 2004, and is internationally recognised as Germany’s first platform for showcasing directors – the new format combines the live format in a theatre setting, and is particularly highlighting directors embracing emerging video technologies.
