BBDO Greater China has promoted Jason King to General Manager of BBDO Hong Kong.
In his new role, King will oversee all aspects of the Hong Kong office’s operations, business development and reputation. He reports to JC Catibog, managing director, BBDO South China.
“I am thrilled to have Jason join the management team of BBDO and Proximity Hong Kong. I’ve worked with Jason for many years. He is super sharp, strategic and creative,” said Catibog.

King relocates from Shanghai where he was most recently business development director for BBDO Greater China. Jason started his BBDO career in 2008 in Singapore before moving with the agency to China in 2010 as planning director.
As part of the Shanghai planning team he won more than 50 awards, including Campaign’s Greater China Young Achiever.

He joins a strong and growing management team in BBDO in South China which includes JC Catibog, Kevin Lynch, Executive Creative Director of BBDO South China, Owen Smith, Head of Planning of BBDO South China and Eric Zhou, General Manager of BBDO Guangzhou.
