BBDO Guerrero ended the night triumphant at the 2015 Asia Pacific Tambuli Awards, being the only local agency to win a Grand Prix.
For the Agency’s “#PHThankYou” campaign for the Department of Tourism (DOT), BBDO Guerrero took home the Grand Prix Award in the Advocacy category, plus two Silver trophies in Digital and Insight and Strategic Thinking categories respectively.
“#PHThankYou” is a social media-led campaign launched early last year, which activated the entire Philippine nation to express its gratitude to the world after the rebuilding efforts for Typhoon Haiyan.
Meanwhile, BBDO Guerrero also won Gold in the Advocacy category for its “Keep the Story Alive” campaign for National Union of Journalists of the Philippines (NUJP).
This campaign is a collaboration between NUJP and BBDO Guerrero to remind people that five years to the day of the Ampatuan Massacre where 82 journalists were ambushed in the country. Zero convictions have been made hence the issue should not be forgotten.
