Executive creative director joins Irish jury for this year's competition
BBDO Dublin's Shane O'Brien has been announced a juror at this year's Immortal Awards, joining the Irish jury.

Shane is the executive creative Director of BBDO Dublin. Prior to that he was creative director at Rothco | Accenture Interactive, creative director of their sister agency Guns or Knives; and before that again, a senior writer in Rothco. Over the last 14 years Shane’s work has been recognised at the Cannes Lions, EPICAs, Eurobest, London International Awards, One Show, Kinsale Sharks, ICAD, ADFX, the Webbies to name a few. 

Over his career he has created campaigns for celebrated Irish and International brands including Guinness, Carlsberg, the National Lottery, Fáilte Ireland, The Road Safety Authority, Heineken, AIB, mytaxi, Aer Lingus, and many others. 

In his spare time Shane is an established screen writer and best-selling children’s author. He has written for shows on Irish and British TV and his second feature film was recently granted production funding by Screen Ireland with a view to shooting later this year. His first children’s book ‘How Will Santa Find Us?’ was published last year in support of homeless charity Focus Ireland.

Entries to The Immortal Awards are now open and Little Black Book members can make their submissions here today. 

Entries into The Immortal Awards will be accepted until September 10th 2021. All entries must be made for a commissioning client, and must have first aired, broadcast, displayed, launched or published between 1st September 2020 and 31st August 2021.  

Every member of LBB is entitled to up to five entries, depending on their membership tier. This year, Bronze members receive one entry, Silver members will receive two entries and Gold members will receive five entries. The full list of rules, including eligibility dates, can be found here.
