BBDO Berlin has added to its strategy and creative leadership, naming Sven Koesling as Head of Strategic Planning. The 37-year-old previously headed up the strategy department at Heimat Berlin.
For Koesling, the new role marks a return to the Network; from 2007 to 2010 he was a Strategic Planner at BBDO Dusseldorf. During his career he has had strategic oversight of brands like Google, MARS, Swisscom, Coca-Cola, Iglo and The Craft. His other previous agencies include Jung von Matt and Scholz & Friends.
Sven Koesling has been on board since the beginning of January, as has Malte Bülskämper who has joined as Creative Director. Malte also joins from Heimat Berlin, where he works as a CD among others for Swisscom, Das Handwerk and Felix Burda, Foundation campaigns has developed. Before that, Bülskämper was with VCCP, Scholz & Friends and Jung von Matt. His clients have included companies like Nike, O2, Saturn, Heineken and Ferrero.
