BBDO Asia has appointed Andrew Chu as Executive Creative Director of BBDO Vietnam.
Andrew joins BBDO from GREYnJ United in Bangkok where he was instrumental in growing the agency’s business and reputation locally and globally. He is the first and only creative in the agency’s history to bring in three Cannes Lions in under three years, and is passionate about delivering campaigns that are highly creative and effective.
With a career spanning over 12 years at some of Australia’s and Thailand’s best agencies, Andrew’s work has been recognised in major industry award shows such as Cannes, CLIOs, One Show, LIAs, the New York Festival, Spikes Asia, Adfest and Ad Stars.
During his time at GREYnJ, he was the creative lead on global and local clients including P&G’s Head & Shoulders, Volvo, Tic Tac, Bar-B-Q Plaza, to name a few.
Andrew returns to the BBDO Network, having been part of the highly effective creative team at Clemenger BBDO Sydney, where he worked on major clients including Virgin Australia, Toshiba, Mars Foods, PepsiCo, Foxtel, and Tourism Australia. While at Clemenger BBDO, he was part of the team responsible for winning the agency’s first Gold Cannes Lion in over 20 years, among other local and international accolades.

Andrew’s appointment is effective as of January 15th 2018.
