BBDO Argentina's 'Magic Straw' for 7UP

If you've ever wondered how to chat up a good looking stranger then you've come to the right place, Martin Jalfen shows you how in his latest film for 7UP.

 

7UP “Magic Straw” is Martin Jalfen’s most recently shot commercial. Jalfen, known for his inventive film-making, is represented in the UK & Europe by Soho’s newest production company FIELDTRIP.

 

 

The commercial was shot in Buenos Aires in the courtyard of the Evita Peron Museum, which is housed in a mansion built for the Carabassa family in the early 20th Century. The ideal backdrop for a modern love story.

 

The “magic” straw and its case were initially designed and modelled in CG. For the shoot an actual straw was created giving the actor a real object to work with and then the final straw was animated in post.
