Brad Kayal has been promoted to Associate Creative Director at barrettSF, founder and Executive Creative Director Jamie Barrett announced today. Previously, he was Senior Art Director.
Most recently, Kayal completed a Father’s Day campaign for barrettSF client Omaha Steaks as well as the shop’s WWE 2K spot featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator.
In his new role, Kayal will share creative director duties on barrettSF’s YP, 2K, Bleacher Report, and Omaha Steaks accounts, as well as lead the agency’s newly formed design arm. When asked about the promotion, agency principals declined the spotlight and suggested asking Kayal himself for a comment. But he didn’t have one.
Before joining barrettSF as senior art director and senior copywriter about a year ago, Kayal and Brad Phifer were a creative force at San Francisco’s Venables Bell & Partners. While there, they worked on projects for Audi, HBO, Intel, Google and eBay. Kayal began his career as a designer at Fort Franklin in Boston.
