Barclays & Barclaycard Appoints M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment as AOR

M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment has announced it has been appointed as the retained agency for Barclays & Barclaycard. 

M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment creates change for brands by making them culturally relevant in people’s passions. They do this by forging enduring connections between brands and consumers through their love of sport, entertainment and culture. 

In December 2021, Barclays extended their sponsorship of the FA Women’s Super League, becoming the first title sponsor of the FA Women’s Championship from the 2022/23 season. 

Barclays, The Football Association (The FA) and the Premier League announced three-year deals to extend  the bank’s sponsorships of the football organisations’ elite competitions from the start of the 2022/23  season until the end of the 2024/25 season. 

Barclays is one of the longest-standing brands in football sponsorship – celebrating their 20th anniversary this year having sponsored the Premier League since 2002.
