Appoints Jenny Thackham designer, Donnine Canamar senior art director, Kateri David copywriter and Brianna Scarduzio account manager

Baldwin& Expands Team with Four New Hires

Baldwin& is building out its talent with an expanded account management and creative team that includes designer Jenny Thackham, senior art director Donnine Canamar, copywriter Kateri David and account manager Brianna Scarduzio, effective immediately.

Thackham will report to Baldwin& director of design Jennifer Matthews and creative partners Donnine Canamar and Kateri David will report to executive creative director Mitch Bennett.

Before joining Baldwin&, Thackham was a freelance brand designer who previously worked at Luckie in Atlanta on brands like Emory University, Panama City Beach and ViiV Healthcare. She holds a masters in strategic design from Furman University and M.AD School of Ideas. Jenny will be partnered with new hire and senior brand strategist Kelly Reed across new business and agency clients, including Lansinoh, Murphy’s Naturals, and Downtown South.  “As a designer, Jenny makes everything look amazing. That’s what you’d expect from a designer. What sets her apart is her strategic and conceptual chops. She enjoys solving hard problems. Plus it’s always fun to see what color her hair will be today,” said Matthews. 

Canamar is an award-winning senior art director joining Baldwin& from Third Rail Creative in Austin, TX where she ran branding for Charles Schwab. Before that she worked on the U.S. Air Force at GSD&M, where her work was recognized by Cannes Lions, Webby Awards, FWA Site of the Month, Communication Arts, and the Guiness Book of World Records. She’s a graduate of Creative Circus in Atlanta and the Southwest University of Visual Arts in Albuquerque, NM.  

David joins from Leo Burnett Chicago where she was a junior copywriter working on GMC, Hummer EV and Buick. Before that, she graduated from the University of Texas Creative program, where she won Best in Show for Copywriting in the Austin Addys and the UT Trimble Prize for Excellence in Writing. 

Executive creative director Mitch Bennett said: “It was clear both Donnine and Kateri fit our creative culture and Give A Damn philosophy from the first Zoom. Their work is smart, well crafted, and interesting, and what more can you want? Oh yeah, nice people who are fun to work with. They’re that, too.” The pair will work on clients such as KIOTI Tractors, Volvo Trucks, Zulily, Bridgestone Motorcycle Tires, Long John Silver’s and Videri. 

Brianna Scarduzio graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. At Baldwin&, Brianna will be supporting our account management team working on Epic Games, KIOTI Tractor and Cree.  

Director of Account Management Jennifer Hazelett said, “Particularly when hiring for an entry level position we look for someone who fits with the Baldwin& mission and culture who also has the drive and work ethic to succeed. Brianna hit all the marks and we’re excited to have her on the team.” 

The new hires come on the heels of a new business streak at Baldwin&, including Lansinoh, Murphy’s Naturals and Shibumi Shade.
