Baldwin&, a certified B Corp focused on advertising, brand strategy and identity design, announces five key promotions working across the agency’s growing roster of clients including Zulily, Volvo Trucks, Lansinoh, Bridgestone, Circ and Long John Silver’s.

Renée Tufillaro, Strategy Director (from Social Director)

One-half creative spirit with an endless curiosity, one-half critical thinker with a passion to analyze –and one whole lot of fun (her Instagram handle is @ihavewineandwifi, if that tells you anything). Renée fell in love with psychology first and then developed a crush on all things digital. In a whirlwind romance, she found herself totally in love with social media strategy. She knows how important it is to build strong relationships with the right audience and how to capture people in an emotionally engaging way – no matter the platform, and no matter whether it’s about compact tractors or sustainable fashion. Renée joined Baldwin& as senior social media strategist, became Social Media Director, and now is a Strategy Director.  She has an undergrad degree in Psychology and Spanish, as well as a Master’s Degree in Interactive Media from Elon University. 

Lauren Stanton: Media Planner at Baldwin& (from Assistant Media Planner)

After a short period working as an account coordinator at AdPro 360 in Colorado Springs, Lauren returned to North Carolina to be closer to her alma mater (Go Heels!). After starting as an Assistant Media Planner at Baldwin& in May of 2021, she quickly knew she’d had found her place and her people. Her attention to detail is impeccable  and she’s shown impressive growth in developing and executing effective strategic marketing campaigns for everything from traditional to digital media over a wide variety of clients. 

Jenny Thackham, Senior Designer (from Designer)

Jennifer Thackham joined Baldwin& in 2021 as a Designer working under Jennifer Matthews to work on brands like Lansinoh, Murphys Naturals, and Circ. She holds a masters in Strategic Design from Furman University and M.AD School of Ideas and considers herself an empathy-first designer. “As a designer, Jenny makes everything look amazing. That’s what you’d expect from a designer. What sets her apart is her strategic and conceptual chops. She enjoys solving hard problems. Plus it’s always fun to see what color her hair will be today,” said Matthews. 

MaryEllen Zino, Finance Director (from Finance Supervisor)

MaryEllen Zino is one of our original employees and is a force of nature. Initially brought on in 2009 to work an hour or two a week she has grown into a full blown finance director, managing every aspect of Baldwin&’s finances and accounting. She also liaises with our benefits and healthcare partners. MaryEllen, or MEZ, as she’s known, has a wide breadth of experience in many different industries.   

Caity Barnes, Senior Social Strategist (from Social Media Strategist)

Caity is an accomplished creative and strategic social media marketer with a proven track record in conceptualization, planning and execution. She is kindly relentless and has a passion for social media marketing driven by an infatuation with psychology, a curiosity for consumer behaviour, and a lifelong love of storytelling. Caity joined Baldwin& in May 2021 as a Social Media Specialist. Previous experience includes French/West/Vaughn, Scout & Molly’s, and SEEZ.
