BAFTA-nominated writer and director David Schneider has signed to RSA Films for UK representation.
Probably still best known as an actor/writer on TV shows such as I’m Alan Partridge and The Day Today, David now spends most of his time on the other side of the camera.
David brings a wealth of experience in directing content for social. A social media obsessive with over 400,000 followers on Twitter and Facebook, David founded the social media company That Lot in 2013. Clients include Channel 4, B&Q, Jamie Oliver, Investec, Have I Got News For You, and many more.
In 2017, David directed Channel 4’s award-winning Snapchat drama (a world first) to accompany their new show Ackley Bridge.
Currently, he is developing a series of TV-style comedies for Facebook, and writing a TV series about the Brexit vote for Channel 4. His screenplay with Armando Iannucci and Ian Martin for Death of Stalin has been nominated for two 2017 BAFTAs.
"We’re delighted that David has joined RSA. Not only does he bring his immense comedy directing talent, it’s also great to have such an inspirational ideas man and writer in the company.” RSA MD, Kai Hsiung.
